BELIEFS IN HOROSCOPES

Hi dear co-bloggers,i am meeting you after a long time with a different post on the theme horoscopes and people’s beliefs in it.

usually in any custom after the baby is born, after  the completion of his/her 1 year people predict their future by writing horoscopes based on their time and place of birth.this is usually done by astrologers who know the movement or position of stars at the time of birth.

ok.coming to the point of believing horoscopes, some people blindly believe in horoscopes and forgets to think practically.whatever the horoscopes show hey blindly believe(especially in deciding marriages).apart from looking at the boy/girl’s education, job, character, family background etc.,people first see whether the horoscopes match. people speak of other matters even before seeing the boy/girl.

One exciting fact is that opinions differ between two astrologers especially if they come from the same family as well. It also goes further in deciding a boy/girl ‘s career irrespective of their own interest in studies. A boy/girl might be interested in some stream to be taken as their career. But since the horoscope say that they would shine in life only if they take up some other stream. So the parents who believe in all these force their children to take up education according to horoscope and astrologers’ which might be against the boy/girl’s own interest.

It is really surprising that people would be eager to know which baby is inside a pregnant woman’s womb from their astrologer by looking at the “would be parents’ horoscope“. The problem arises only if it goes otherwise.

Coming to the conclusion, I am not against astrology/horoscope; but it very much depends on the heights of belief one has in them. In certain cases, it is not advisable to rely much on horoscope especially in chosing a career or chosing a match. (which very much depends on the matching of two hearts). Even today I see some parents hanging around with their son/daughter’s horoscope in a long queue to meet their astrologers where they spend lavishly to him wasting time and money as well.

Instead, we could spend some time with our children, speak to them on their idea of chosing a career or chosing a match for them, etc. which would prove really beneficial rather than believing what the stars say or astrologers/horoscope say.

Wonderful post. Huge improvement since your first post. Astrology is not existent only in horoscopes. They are present even in sun signs, star signs and what not. Predictions can always go wrong. Astrology is a gamble of prediction. That is it. Nice post. :) Keep it coming. :)

Hey good to see your post after a long break…
Actually even I dont believe in horoscopes but yeah I do read my horoscope daily which comes in newspaper,JUST FOR TIMEPASS :)
But am completely against matching horoscopes to find one’s partner…
Well am still in ambiguity about this because as far as i have seen, some predictions have come true and some not…I still dont know whether to believe in it or not….
