An Amazing Open Day

Hi friends,this is again me with a new topic after a very long time.i know some of you might be surprised on seeing the topic given above.now let me speak in detail.my son had ‘OPEN-DAY’ in his school ‘PADMA SESHADRI BALA BHAVAN’.also the school closed for  summer vacation.

I had been to attend open-day with my husband.my son was busy introducing us to his friends while we waited for some time to to speak to his class-teacher as she was busy distributing progress report to other parent.

Meanwhile i just looked around his classroom.as any kindergarten class would display,his classroom also displayed’charts’,pictures’ showing rhymes,traffic-signals,parts of the body,my school etc.

Suddenly when i saw the black-board i was really taken aback.yes here i should truly mention his teacher and her creative thoughts.

My son aditya’s teacher Mrs. Subhashini had drawn the faces of all the 35 students of her class with each and every student’s identity. Just by seeing the picture one could make out their kid’s picture.

Really I was surprised and when inquired with his teacher, she informed me that she has been doing this for the last 4 years. In addition, she also gifted all her students with a ‘rooster doll’ made of match box and distributed chocolates to each and every child.

This might be a very small matter, but I really liked it and that is why I started to write a post immediately. I think these are the some of the positive ways and means through which a child can be made happy and further develop the child.

Kudos to the innovative and creative teacher Mrs. Subhashini and then to the school, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan which encourages its teachers to implement their optimistic ideas and thoughts.
